*Here, i have been asked to analysed on movie being a structuralist. my views on movie "Gangster".

As we all
know that “structure” is in base of anything. If we talk about literature field
then let’s discuss structure which given by Aristotle. That any story, novel,
drama/play have structure kind, 1. Beginning, 2. Middle/climax, 3. End. There
were most plays based upon myths and religious books. So this pattern was
accepted more at that time. But, with the passing of time as things generally
changed pattern of story writing and presenting has some change.
Now-a-days
most popular structure to represent a film version is “flesh back” technique;
which usually shown into suspense stories, and horror stories. For example,
Gangster, Rahsya many more.
In Gangster
we find that the heroin(kangna ranavat) kills one man /second hero(Imran Hasmi),
she taken to hospital because she is also wounded. And ICU she recalls everything. Thus we reach at the whole contain of
the story. We see the movie in flesh back. ‘How she was fell in love with one
Gangster(Shyni Ahuja), then she begins family with him, she had a friend(Imran
Hasmi) and fell in love with him then, she was unknown from the secret identity
of his that he was police inspector and was with her to arrest her husband
(Gangster). At last Shyni Ahuja sentenced to death. Here, kangna took revenge
with Imran Hasmi of this tricky plan or game with killing him. And at the end
she committed suicide for her guilt.
Being
structuralist I found no doubts or
problems with this movie.
